While Enclume craftsmen employ time-honored French metal-forming equipment, all key fabrication steps are performed by hand. Consider that our best-selling rack, containing six major components, requires over sixty handling steps to complete. This process of multiple touches assures the superior quality that shows in our work.

Rightfully Enclume craftsmen take pride in the personal touch they apply to creating our products. Their job is not one of an assembly line. Our products take close attention to produce – completed in small lots of 30 to 60. And along the way virtually every component needs a “tweak” or modification to match the design. This represents the efforts of skilled humans, not machines.
